Effective morning after pill with a 3-day window.

Emerres is an emergency contraception containing levonorgestrel. It can be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.
To order Emerres online, answer a few questions and we’ll recommend the emergency contraception that’s right for you.
Emerres morning-after pill reduces the chances of pregnancy after unprotected sex. It contains levonorgestrel which prevents ovulation by thickening the lining of the womb. It should be taken within 72 hours after having sex for it to be most effective.
Emergency contraception is effective at reducing the risk of pregnancy after unprotected sex or a failed contraceptive method (like a ripped condom). The pill is also suitable for women who are already taking another form of contraception, such as the pill.
Emerres contains levonorgestrel, the synthetic form of the naturally occurring hormone progesterone. It binds to the progesterone and androgen receptors, delaying the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone. This inhibits the increase of the luteinising hormone, preventing the release of the egg. Without an egg, the sperm cannot fertilise. It also thickens the uterus lining, preventing the sperm from crossing through.
There are 2 names for Emerres, Emerres 1.5mg tablet and Emerres Una 1.5mg tablet. They both contain the same active ingredient at the same concentration. The only difference is the name.

Taking Emerres
Take one tablet whole with water. It’s best to take it 12 hours after having unprotected sex for it to be most effective and no later than 72 hours. If you’re already using a form of contraception, like the pill, you can take Emerres and then continue taking the pill as normal.
If you vomit within three hours of taking Emerres, take another tablet immediately.
After taking Emerres
If you want to have sex after taking Emerres, you should use another form of contraception, if you’re not taking a pill. This is because Emerres won’t protect you again after having unprotected sex again before your next period is due.
Three weeks after taking Emerres, it’s advised to go to the doctor to make sure everything is okay. If your period is delayed, lighter or heavier than usual, contact your doctor immediately. This could be a sign you're pregnant.
If you become pregnant after taking the pill, contact your doctor immediately.
Your period after taking Emerres
It’s normal for your period to begin on the same day after taking Emerres, but you can have it earlier or later. If you start your period five days later than usual or abnormal bleeding occurs, it’s best to take a pregnancy test to make sure you’re not pregnant.
If you accidentally take more than one dose, you might feel sick, be sick, or have vaginal bleeding. Although these symptoms aren’t common, if you do get them, contact our clinician online for advice.
