Bupropion side effects
Bupropion is the active ingredient found in the stop smoking medication prescribed under the name Zyban. Bupropion works by stimulating neurotransmitters in the brain to reduce symptoms of nicotine withdrawal and quell the desire to smoke.
Of course, like all treatments, bupropion comes with potential side effects, such as nausea, headaches, insomnia, and weight loss, to name a few. Most smoking cessation drugs’ side effects are rare and shouldn’t deter you from using prescription treatments to help overcome your nicotine addiction.
