Tablet to restore vaginal health.

Vagifem treats vaginal dryness easily and effectively. It’s a tablet that comes with an easy-to-use applicator.
Order Vagifem online with Treated and get your vagina’s hormone balance back to normal. You can pick a schedule that works for you, so you never run out.
Vagifem treats vaginal dryness in women who have begun the menopause. It’s a tablet you put straight into your vagina, also called a pessary. Your vagina then absorbs the medication and combats your symptoms.
40-57% of women who’ve been through the menopause experience vaginal dryness, but Vagifem can help. It restores the hormonal balance of your vagina, getting rid of your symptoms so you can enjoy life fully again.
What makes Vagifem work is a chemical called estradiol. It’s a synthetic version of the female hormone oestrogen. When you go through the menopause, your body stops producing as much oestrogen, which can make the walls of your vagina dry and thin. This can be painful, leave you vulnerable to infection and affect your sex life.
By increasing the oestrogen active in your vagina, Vagifem makes it healthy again. You insert the tablet straight into your vagina, it absorbs the estradiol and the hormone starts working. Then your vagina can become naturally lubricated again. The walls of your vagina also become thicker and healthier, getting rid of any discomfort.
Each Vagifem tablet has 10mcg of estradiol. You use a tablet a day for the first two weeks. After the first two weeks are up, you then use one tablet twice a week. Leave a few days between each tablet.
Your clinician can help you decide how long you’ll need to use Vagifem for. You’ll usually want to use it for as short a time as possible to manage your symptoms. You shouldn’t stop taking it without talking to a clinician though. If you order from us, you can get expert advice with just a message.

When we present you with stats, data, opinion or a consensus, we’ll tell you where this came from. Your clinician can give you advice on exactly how to use Vagifem. If you have any questions, you can message our team by just logging into your account.
Vagifem starts working on raising the oestrogen levels in your vagina right away. But it might take some time to see results and for these changes to reverse your symptoms. You may notice significant changes after just a few weeks.
For some people though, it might take a couple of months before Vagifem starts showing its full effects. Usually, it’s recommended that you wait twelve weeks to see if Vagifem is working for you.
If you use too much Vagifem, ask your clinician for advice. But there shouldn’t be any serious problems. Because the amount of estradiol that can be absorbed into your blood is so tiny, it’s unlikely to have any negative side effects.
If you forget to use Vagifem, just use it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, just skip the missed dose and continue with your treatment plan. Don’t use two tablets to make up for missing one.
