Celluvisc comes in packs with single-dose containers, making it easy to know how much to use. Each container contains enough Celluvisc to treat both eyes.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before using Celluvisc eye drops;
• Tear a container off the strip of Celluvisc doses;
• Hold the container upright and twist the cap off;
• Pull down gently on your lower eyelid with one hand, while holding the Celluvisc container in the other;
• Squeeze the container to release a drop into your eye.Repeat this with the other eye;
• Throw the container away. Don’t reuse it, even if there’s some Celluvisc solution left.

Celluvisc eye drops provide your eyes with immediate relief from dry eyes. Celluvisc will keep your eyes lubricated while they heal, but you’ll often have to keep taking it for a while to see lasting results. How long exactly you use Celluvisc for will depend on your symptoms. Talk to your clinician for advice and direction on how long to use Celluvisc.

If you forget to use Celluvisc at the usual time, just use it as soon as you remember or when your eyes become irritable or feel gritty. If you use too much, it shouldn’t cause any problems. Just blink away any excess and continue treatment as normal.

Don’t touch your eye with the dropper of Celluvisc. If you do, just wash it with clean water. If you’re using other eye drops, wait at least 15 minutes between each application and use Celluvisc drops last. Take out contact lenses before using Celluvisc and wait for 15 minutes before you put them back in.
