However if you notice these symptoms, it could be a sign of an allergic reaction:
- Sudden rash or hives;
- Swelling of the face, lips or tongue;
- Shortness of breath or wheezing.
In this case, stop using Xyloproct and seek urgent medical attention.
If you experience any soreness and bleeding, it's advised you stop using Xyloproct and speak to your clinician, too. Other side effects may include redness, swelling and itching. These should go away shortly after application, especially after you've used it a few times.
