What is Complan?

You have different options to prepare a serving of Complan shake to suit your taste and calorie needs. When you use water, one serving (57g of powder) has about 250 calories (kcal), and if you prefer using 200ml of whole cow’s milk, you’ll get 381 calories (kcal). It’s also gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians, with no artificial colours, sweeteners or preservatives.

Complan is loaded with vitamins and nutrients. So when you have a serving of Complan, you’re essentially getting all the nutrients you’d get from a regular meal. You can take Complan instead of a meal to keep your weight in check when you’re not able to eat, or you can use it to help you put on some healthy weight while still eating your regular meals.
Complan contains 26 essential vitamins and minerals, all of which you’d find in a balanced light meal. It has B vitamins to fight fatigue, vitamin C and iron to boost your immune system, protein for strong muscles, calcium and vitamin D for healthy bones, and many other ingredients.
That’s why fortified supplements like Complan are often recommended for people who are either dealing with malnutrition or at risk of it due to other health issues (like illness or after surgery). What flavours of Complan are there?

Our clinical team will give you instructions on how to prepare and take Complan. Depending on your specific needs and weight goals, you may be prescribed one to three servings of Complan a day to take as a supplement after your meals or in-between them as a snack. It’s best not to replace more than one meal a day with a Complan, unless your clinician has advised you to.
