Biolide does come with some risk of side effects, just like any other medication you take. The most common Biolide side effects include:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea
- Constipation
- Headaches
These side effects are your body adjusting to your medication, and usually fade after a few days or weeks. They might come back when you increase your dose of Biolide, but they should go away again afterwards.
Other common Biolide side effects you might experience are:
- Indigestion
- Inflammation in your stomach lining
- Stomach pain or discomfort
- Heartburn
- Bloating
- Wind
- Dry mouth
- Fatigue
- Weakness
- Changes in your sense of taste
- Dizziness
- Insomnia
- Gallstones
- Skin rash
- Injection site reactions
- Low blood sugar levels
But there are some more serious Biolide side effects you should be aware of. If you experience any breathing difficulties, swelling in your face or throat, or a fast heartbeat after using Biolide – seek medical attention. This could be a sign of a severe allergic reaction.
Cases of pancreatitis have also been reported in people using liraglutide injections. If you get severe pain in your stomach that doesn’t go away (which can spread through to your back), nausea, and vomiting, it could be a sign of pancreatitis.
This isn’t a comprehensive list of all of Biolide’s possible side effects. If you have any questions or concerns, speak to your doctor, or check the patient information leaflet.
