Cialis Together is a tablet treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). It’s available in one dose and is taken (usually at least half an hour) before you have sex. It can be used on-demand, and can improve erections for up to 36 hours. The active ingredient in the tablets, tadalafil, belongs to a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors.
Cialis Together contains 10mg of the active ingredient tadalafil, which is the same amount found in regular Cialis 10mg tablets. The main difference between the two is the classification. Cialis comes in several doses and is a prescription-only medicine (POM). But Cialis Together only comes in one dose (10mg) and is a pharmacy medicine (P). How to take Cialis Together
You should swallow your Cialis Together tablets whole, with water. You can take them with or without food, at least half an hour before any sexual activity.
The tablets are intended to be used on-demand. This means you should only use Cialis Together when you feel like you need to, rather than once a day. The tablets usually work on the first or second attempt of using them.
Does Cialis Together work right away?
A tablet is usually taken 30-60 minutes before you have sex. This should be enough time for the medication to get into your system and improve the blood flow to your penis. So, it doesn’t work instantly, but you don’t have to wait too long before the effects of Cialis Together can be felt.
Cialis Together works for up to 36 hours, so how and when you engage in sexual activity during that window comes down to you personally. How is Cialis Together different from other treatments for ED?

Cialis Together contains the same active ingredient as Cialis, but comes as a single 10mg dose tablet. Cialis is available in both 10mg and 20mg strengths, as well as a daily use tablet that comes in 2.5mg and 5mg doses. You can also get a generic version of the same medication without any branding, Tadalafil, which you can use on-demand (10mg or 20mg) or daily at a lower dose (2.5mg or 5mg).
The most popular treatment for ED is Viagra. Like Cialis Together, it’s available as a pharmacy medication, Viagra Connect, which comes in a medium strength dose and doesn’t require a prescription. A cheaper generic version exists, called Sildenafil, which is named after the active ingredient in Viagra. It works in the same way.
Trials have found tadalafil and sildenafil to have a comparable effectiveness at treating ED. But tadalafil has the added benefit of having a longer half-life.
How long does Cialis Together last?

Cialis Together can work for as long as 36 hours after you’ve taken a tablet. This is considerably longer than the other pharmacy medicines for ED, Viagra Connect and Aronix, which are typically effective for around 4-6 hours.
Compared to sildenafil and vardenafil, tadalafil has a much longer half-life of 17.5 hours in healthy, ‘normal’ men. For elderly men who use it, its half-life has been shown to be almost an entire day, at 21.6 hours.
How effective is Cialis Together?

It was shown to be an effective treatment for ED, with a half-life (how long the concentration of the active ingredient takes to reduce by half in your body) of 17.5 hours. It was also found to be well tolerated, which means it could be less likely to cause side effects.
